Tom Schultz, Director, Idaho Department of Lands and Secretary to the Idaho State Board of Land Commissioners
Kathy Opp, Deputy Director - The Deputy Director is dedicated to endowment reform and management, provides oversight in researching, developing and proposing necessary constitutional, statutory and land acquisition and disposal strategies, establishes a complete asset management plan that includes land, cash and investment resources and helps to develop internal department procedures and policies.
Bob Brammer, Assistant Director, Lands, Minerals, Range - The Lands, Minerals and Range Division includes the Surface and Mineral Resources Bureau. Six leasing programs, three regulatory programs and one assistance program are managed by the Bureau. Leasing programs include: Residential Cottage Sites, Commercial, Mineral, Grazing, Farming, Conservation. Regulatory programs include: Navigable Waters (Public Trust Lands), Mining, Oil and Gas. Assistance programs include: Abandoned Mine Lands.
Kurt Houston, Operations Chief-South - The Operations Chief-South oversees the following Supervisory Area Offices: Maggie Creek (Kamiah), Craig Mountain (Craigmont), Southwest (Boise), Eastern (Idaho Falls), Clearwater (Orofino), Payette Lakes (McCall), South Central (Jerome). Patrick Hodges, Division Administrator, Support Services - The Support Services Division includes Fiscal, Information Technology, GIS/Cartography, strategic planning and facilities.
Vacant, Human Resources Officer - The Human Resources Officer oversees services relating to recruitment, selection, retention, compensation, classification, training and policies.

Lisa Johnson, Financial Officer - The Fiscal Management section provides leadership in the management of the Department's fiscal business. Its responsibilities include preparation of the annual budget, pre-audit and processing of all Department receipts and expenditures, processing of all non-fire related travel reimbursements, preparation of the annual capital property inventory, contracting, purchasing and bidding.

Ken Ockfen, Chief, Fire Management Bureau - The Fire Management Bureau establishes policies to prevent and prepare for wildland fires. Its Mission is to conserve and protect six million acres of private, state and federal forest lands by preventing and/or suppressing all unwanted fires, to enhance forest management on state endowment lands by utilizing fire as a management tool and to help local communities better cope with wildfire in the wildland/urban interface.
Craig Foss, Chief, Forestry Assistance Bureau - The Forestry Assistance Bureau provides technical assistance to Department programs and state and federal officials. It advises and assists private landowners in the responsible management of forest resources and enforces the policies set forth by the Idaho Forest Practices Act, which regulates commercial forest operations within Idaho. Staff includes specialists in forest management, entomology, pathology, fisheries biology, hydrology and geotechnical engineering.
Bob Helmer, Chief, Forest Management Bureau - The Forest Management Bureau provides overall statewide policy direction, technical guidance and support for the management of endowment lands. It is also responsible for the accounting of associated receivables.
Dan Raiha, Information Technology Resource Manager - The Information Technology Manager oversees coordination and administration of computer and telecommunication services. Related Link:
