Deputy Director Opp provides oversight in researching, developing and proposing necessary constitutional, statutory and administrative rule changes to complete endowment reform; will finalize and implement land acquisition and disposal strategies; will establish a complete asset management plan that includes land, cash and investment resources; will help develop internal department procedures and policies.

Disclaimers of interest, easements and other general fund real estate transactions are handled by this Division along with minerals, range, cropland, commercial leasing, surface land leasing, cottage sites, navigable waters and oil/gas.

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) staff are part of IDL's Support Services Division. The GIS Section provides coordination and administration of geographic information system and cartographic services.
