About Idaho’s Statewide Forest Resource Strategy

The Forest Service State and Private Forestry Redesign and the 2008 Farm Bill require states to develop a Statewide Forest Resource Strategy based on their completed State Assessments of Forest Resources (SAFR).  A team of Idaho stakeholders recently completed a SAFR and has now begun work on the Resource Strategy.  This work will be ongoing throughout the year.  The Resource Strategy will be completed by June 2010.
