Navigable Lakes and Rivers
• List of Idaho Navigable Lakes and Rivers
The above list of navigable lakes and rivers in Idaho is not exclusive. At some later date, the State of Idaho may determine through court action or some other means that additional lakes and rivers will be declared navigable for title purposes. Department employees are not authorized to make a determination of navigability. That authority rests with the State Board of Land Commissioners. Department employees may, however, determine the location of the ordinary high water mark along existing navigable waters.
