Total Compensation is the complete compensation package for benefitted employees, factoring in both the employee’s annual salary, and what the state contributes for their benefits.

If a benefitted, seasonal employees makes $15 per hour and works 1,385 hours (average hours worked in 8 months), their total compensation may look like this:

 

 $20,775 = Annual Salary

+ $15,316 = State of Idaho Contributions 

 $36,091 = Total Compensation
