The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is the primary cost incentives source. They provide assistance in a myriad of forestry and agriculture management practices. Idaho Department of Lands Private Forestry Specialists provide forestry technical services to support NRCS cost-incentive practices. For example, the NRCS Moscow Field Office is working with landowners that have been affected by the Bedrock, Leland Complex, and Idler Fires of 2021.
