Status of Rulemaking

Pending fee rules approved by the Idaho Legislature (SCR 123). Final rules effective March 18, 2022.

Legislative Review of Pending Fee Rules

The pending fee rules were adopted by the Idaho State Board of Land Commissioners and the Idaho Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (as to IDAPA 20.07.02) on November 16, 2021.

Purpose of this Rulemaking

Rulemaking initiated to ensure the continuity of previously approved administrative fee rules under IDAPA 20, rules of the Idaho Department of Lands.

The fee rules were submitted to the 2021 Idaho Legislature for review under docket 20-0000-2000F:

These rules are necessary to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Idaho and confer a benefit on its citizens.

The temporary fee rules were adopted by the Idaho State Board of Land Commissioners (on 6/15/2021), the Idaho Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (as to IDAPA 20.07.02 on 6/15/2021), and the Idaho Board of Scaling Practices (as to IDAPA 20.06.01 on 6/18/2021).
